PopVax is an Indian biotechnology company based in Hyderabad, with a primarily remote US subsidiary nominally based in New York. We are funded via research agreements with the Gates Foundation and Vitalik Buterin’s biosecurity company Balvi. For the past year, we have been building a novel second-generation mRNA platform for low-cost broadly-protective vaccines via computationally-driven antigen design, starting with an open-source booster vaccine candidate that is intended to protect against the entire sarbecovirus species and, if things go well, the betacoronavirus genus, including current and future strains of SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19.
We’re looking for an experienced warehouse manager with at least 5 years of experience in running a warehouse in a cGMP production facility.
5+ years of experience managing a warehouse in a cGMP environment, including control and management of inventory, material issuance, sampling and disposal
Experience with inventory management and tracking software, ideally via an ERP such as SAP
Exposure to and participation in regulatory audits, ideally for all of CDSCO/DCGI, WHO, and US FDA
Background knowledge of relevant local and national rules around material storage, including for organic solvents such as ethanol
Background knowledge of customs clearance procedures
Experience dealing with change controls, devations, incident investigations, and other elements of quality management systems
Demonstrated experience recruiting, training, and managing a team succesfully in a fast-paced cGMP enviroment
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to conceptualize and produce comprehensive reports on the state of the warehouse or a specific set of materials rapidly and independently
